1930’s Teen Delinquents

i.e. life role models

I’m just gonna reblog this again because it’s one of my favorite pictures ever.
That girl in the chair seems like such a badass I bet she was the leader of the crew.

I want to write about these girls.

When I was a teenager my mother found my grandmother’s (her mother) school scrapbook. It included things like photos, notes, and a two page spread of every demerit she ever received over the course of her formal education. Each of them set aside with little tags like she was so fucking proud of them. They were all for things like, “Unladylike behavior” or, “Skirt too short” or, “refuses to listen to authority”. I loved that spread so much.

I always have to reblog this.

5-Year-Old With Autism Paints Stunning Masterpieces

Autism is a poorly-understood neurological disorder that can impair an individual’s ability to engage in various social interactions. But little 5-year-old Iris Grace in the UK is an excellent example of the unexpected gifts that autism can also grant – her exceptional focus and attention to detail have helped her create incredibly beautiful paintings that many of her fans (and buyers) have likened to Monet’s works.

Little Iris is slowly learning to speak, whereas most children have already begun to speak at least a few words by age 2. Along with speech therapy, her parents gradually introduced her to painting, which is when they discovered her amazing talent.

“We have been encouraging Iris to paint to help with speech therapy, joint attention and turn taking,” her mother, Arabella Carter-Johnson, explains on her website. “Then we realised that she is actually really talented and has an incredible concentration span of around 2 hours each time she paints. Her autism has created a style of painting which I have never seen in a child of her age, she has an understanding of colours and how they interact with each other.”

Much better version of the same subject matter I posted earlier.

That’s fucking Chris Evans. Tell me that’s not fucking Chris Evans.

In the video I noticed a tattoo on his wrist, but man does he sound a lot like him too.

The Whitest Kids U’ Know x

I really spent four years in the states thinking this couldn’t possibly be a real thing but then I graduated and everyone knew the pledge of allegiance PERFECTLY and then I realized how true this gifset really is. If you say something enough as a kid, it’ll never leave you. The thing tho, is that normally, kids know lullabies, and songs. Not a poem about mindless patriotism.

His and Her Royal Highness

Is this real?

No, it’s a mass hallucination on the part of American children of the ’90s.

(Or a 1995 made-for-TV version of Rogers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, if you prefer.)

This was the best.

this is the only version of cinderella that matters

Interracial parents and Filipino son. Never ever did I question whether or not they were a family.

It’s On Us:

To RECOGNIZE that non-consensual sex is sexual assault.

To IDENTIFY situations in which sexual assault may occur.

To INTERVENE in situations where consent has not or cannot be given.

To CREATE an environment in which sexual assault is unacceptable and survivors are supported.
